The case of the disappearing photos.
It used to happen from time to time - now it's happening a lot more often. After posting my photos in here which I have hosted for years on Fotki dot com, the urls change causing my blog to have many blank placeholders.
This is not meant to be a rant - just letting people know why there are so many missing photos.
Unfortunately, I can't take the time to keep fixing the links.
Enjoy what's left. Thank you.

This Blog

Hi Folks!!

A week ago I published this post (see below) on my Dark Sky Photography blog and only got a few views according to the stats...some of those views might even have been myself. No comments or feedback of any kind either. Hmmph!

At the same time, I shared the post on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Google+, but I didn't think to also post it right here, in the blog it's actually about. So here it is.

If you followed it as it was in the making, take a look back (and thank you!).

Maybe I'm biased since they're my own photos, but I really enjoy looking back at them. Maybe it's because I'm no longer scrutinizing them but just looking at them as they are intended, and I enjoy a lot of my own writings as well....like I'm a newcomer to my own blog. I hope that isn't a sign of something. Haha.

Hope you enjoy the read.

Tooting My Own Horn! – Dark Sky Photo Project

If you haven’t already, and you want to see some of my best photos, take a look at my old blog Dark Sky Photo Project. I’ll put a link at the end.

It started out as a Project 365 and after the first 365, I started to do a second year. It was difficult to keep up with it and so it became just a photo blog.

I look at it still, from time to time, and I have to say I impress myself with my witty entries and really good photos. Of course there are some mediocre ones too but mostly awesome.

Sorry for tooting my own horn here, but whenever I go to that blog after a long time – well, I already said it above. lol.

Check it out here! (http://blogs.darkskyphoto.com/) Be sure to leave comments and let me know what you think of it here too.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I do and that I haven’t made it out to be greater than it is. Nahh, it’s really awesome.

It’s fun too in my opinion. Start at the oldest and work your way to the newest. You’ll never get through it all in one sitting. Haha. It spans a few years.

Thank you for reading!
